Items you will need: 16 oz clean jar, filtered spring water, unbleached flour, rubber spatula, and larger jar to transfer on day 5
Empty the entire packet of sourdough starter in a clean jar. Add 2 tbsp of warm water. Stir and let sit for
30 minutes. After 30 minutes, add 2 tbsp of flour. Stir well until all clumps of flour are incorporated
Then, cover loosely with the lid and let sit at room temperature for| 24 hours
Once your starter has sat for 24 hours, it is ready for its first feeding.
